The Helicopters are realised according to the Specifications for Ultralight means FAR part 103 of the  FAA with advanced characteristics, so that the  maximum of thecnology can be exploited both in performance and in security. The  Ultrasport 331 is  designed to  satisfy the  FAR Part 21.191 rule (g) as a self built helicopter, while the Ultrasport 496RT has been developped as a 2 seats version to satisfy the FAA  rules, as an ultralight trainig Helicopter.
The Ultrasport UAV at the moment is in a developping phase for tactic applications.

The main characteristics of the  Ultrasport helicopters  include:

High Thecnology Cell in composite  much better than the traditional piped frame.

The Ultrasport has been recognised as the most advanced thecnological Helicopter as stated on the U.S. Aviation of September 1995:

Many societies made lots of promises to  “ Leasure Time Helicopters” Amateurs declaring to supply reliable means for anybody at incredibly low prices. In many cases these promises revealed to be unreal, especially concerning the Microlight one seat. These societies often promised revoluionary components for helicopters, able to take-off and take you to heaven… Some of these things were really bizarre, a lot of them used rough rotating systems started from turbines of aeronautic doutfull validity; others being a bit more than a  mock-up of a dream, tried to make of us an  "Icarus beginner” ... but good news are finally coming!!! The American Sportscopter program, promising a real Ultralight Helicopter (Ultrasport 331) and a reliable two-seats (Ultrasport 496)  has been realised. It can be considered the most technologically advanced helicopter in the whole history of  the sports aviation ...
